Gundamma Katha, the NTR and ANR starrer went on to become a classic. Though Balakrishna and Nagarjuna wanted to do a similar film in the next generation, they couldn’t do so for various reasons. Now in the third generation, actors NTR Jr and Naga Chaitanya are gearing for one.

When contacted, they said they were ready provided if they get right script for the film. It would be interesting, if it gets materialize. Let us hope the film will be a reality soon.

Normally, Rama Rajamouli for most of the occasions will be seen in a casual wear of faded jeans and a long Kurta which is her trademark attire. In difference, Rama Rajamouli wore a blue sari with its casual fallen look which made a lot of difference in her appearance.

Naga Chaitanya News : Naga Chaitanya's film to be launched

Naga Chaitanya's latest film is going to be launched at 8:30 a.m at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on Monday. Sukumar of Arya fame is going to direct the film. Geeta Arts is producing the film. Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Ramanaidu and Suresh Babu will attend the film's launch.

After the hundred-day feat of his last film Em Maya Chesave, Naga Chaitanya is gearing up for another hit with the youthful love story.

Chaitu's director irritates Chief Minister

Gautham Vasudev Menon, the man behind Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ has done a big sin of calling Tamilnadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi as just ‘Karunanidhi.’ Here is the story, Tamilnadu  Chief Minister Karunanidhi has written a theme song for the World Tamil Classic Conference for which AR Rahman composed the music and Gautham Menon has directed the video album.

During the launch of this song today, people who spoke from the dias referred to the Chief Minister as Kalaignar but it was Gautham Menon along who kept constantly calling him by his name Karunanidhi. All the ministers present at the gathering got irritated after a while. When Gautham completed his speech, he was asked to sit in the back row and he wasn’t even present in the group photo that was taken after the event.

That is what we call 'Name Craze.'

Naga Chaitanya's film in 'Hindi'

'Ye Maya Chesave' of Naga Chaitanya directed by Gautham Menon, is all set for a remake in Hindi. Gautham Menon was again roped in as director while popular Bollywood producer Ambika Hinduja bagged the remake rights of the film in Hindi.

The director had already made his presence felt with his film 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein', a remake of a successful Tamil film 'Minnale' (dubbed into Telugu as 'Cheli'). Mega Producer Allu Aravind’s younger son Allu Sirish is planning a movie with Naga Chaitanya. On behalf of Geetha Arts, Allu Sirish will soon launch this new venture and Mr. Bunny Vasu, the new man from Allu stream will look after the execution part of this project.

Actually the story and script of this movie was finalized some time during ‘Josh’ but it was planned only after ‘Ye Maya Chesave.’ This will again be a new kind of love story for Naga Chaitanya in direction of Sukumar with Tamanna as heroine and Devisri Prasad to provide the music.

By the way, Allu Sirish is on a plan to open a corporate kind of movie production house and this movie will be a stepping stone. It’s good that young talents in the industry are flocking together.

Nagarjuna is mighty impressed with Gowtam Menon’s Ye Maya Chesave. His son being the hero in it might be one reason for it, but Nag is definitely flattered by the Gowtam Menon style of presentation. His comparison with Geetanjali itself speaks peaks about it.

Well known producer Bellamkonda Suresh is the busiest man these days as he is continuously grabbing the lime light past ‘Shambho Shiva Shambho.’ He is now set to release ‘1940 Lo Oka Gramam’ this month followed by ‘Golimaar’ in next month and ready to go on sets with Venkatesh for sequel of Chandramukhi that is ‘Naagamalli.’
Latest news is that Bellamkonda Suresh has got the nod from Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya for their next venture in the direction of Gautham Menon. News is yet to be officially announced, but Bellamkonda and his heroes are known to be impressed by the innovative subject of Gautham Menon.

So, happy news for Nagarjuna fans as both this son and father duo are to thrill the audiences by end of this year or first half of next year.

The latest buzz is that Naga Chaitanya has given nod to director Adavi Sai Kiran, who earlier director Vinayakudu and its sequel Village to Vinayakudu with Krishnudu. Adavi Sai Kiran is known for his soft romantic comedies and is known to have impressed Naga Chaitanya with his fresh and new subject.

Sources say that, Naga Chaitanya and Krishnudu have become good friends with ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ and it was Krishnudu who introduced Naga Chaitanya to Adavi and played a key role in finalizing the deal. This film may hit floors after Chaitu’s next two films; one with director Ajay Bhuyan and the other with Sukumar. So, one more soft romantic entertainer is to arrive soon.

Post the success of ‘Ye Maya Chesave,’ Naga Chaitanya already revealed it to the media that his next flick will be an out and out action entertainer by one of the top notch director. When everybody was thinking about Surender Reddy as possible director for this one; Ajay Bhuyan is other name which sprung into importance.

In both of his last flicks Naga Chaiatanya romanced beautiful babes, Karthika in ‘Josh’ and dream girl Samantha in ‘Ye Maya Chesave.’ Now first thing that comes is the comparison with father Nagarjuna in selecting the heroines and yes even Chaitu is pretty good at selecting his heroines as sources say that Kajal Agarwal has been picked for Ajay Bhuyan film while Tamanna has been finalized for the next with Sukumar.

Sources say that, naga chaitanya deliberately asked for an action entertainer and the first choice as per his father Nagarjuna’s decision is Surender Reddy.

Surender Reddy, the stylish director who delivered super hits like ‘Athanokkade’ and ‘Kick’ is known to have come out with a superb action oriented concept which was liked by Kamkashi Banners Shivaprasad Reddy and of course Nagarjuna too. 'Ye Maayam...' refreshing

Nag Chaithanya's second film 'Ye Maayam Chesave' created a lot of hype before its release because it had music by maestro A.R. Rahman and the director was the well-known Gautham Menon.
But the film stands up to its hype and can be called a classic and pure love story. The film breathes fresh air from the first sequence itself and gives audiences a respite from the mindless fights and songs seen in a slew of recent films.
Menon has really showed how a strong script can make a difference in the making of a film. He has worked on minute details, adding much authenticity to the love sequences.
The film has a simple romantic story of two youngsters that has been narrated realistically. Menon has selected a perfect star cast and an experienced technical team. The director has also been able to get the best out of both Nag Chaithanya and newcomer Samantha.
As in any of his previous films, the camera work stands out. Menon has used very good locations to present his story.
And coming to A.R. Rahman's music, it would be difficult not to get carried away by his superb compositions and background music. His soulful and melodious compositions add lot of weight to the film. Rahman once again proves that he is the unbeatable master of music.
Menon's penchant for reality has seen the inclusion of many Malayalam dialogues in the film, which may be a little irritating for the Telugu audiences. But Menon's script is so well written that these mminor things will be forgotten. The love sequences are presented very aesthetically.
